MD HOMES FIVE-STEP BUILDING PROCESS

1. Initial Project Consultation

Before starting any build or renovation project MD Homes will meet with you on site or in our Burlington showroom to discuss the scope of your project. We discover your personal design style and goals and take detailed notes on what you wish to achieve with your new home build or renovation.

2. Architect & Interior Design

After our initial consultation, MD Homes will have drawings made to ensure that we get accurate quotes from all trades. These drawings and elevations will depict the finished look of your new build or renovation and will allow you to visualize your completed home. MD Homes will also use these drawings to acquire building permits for your project.

3. Budget

After plans have been drawn and approved by you, MD Homes will create an estimate package for your review that includes pricing on all building costs. We always work hard to ensure that our pricing is fair and meets our clients’ budgets. Our packages are extremely comprehensive to ensure our clients always feel comfortable and informed.

4. Construction Scheduling

MD Homes will compile all important dates related to your project into our electronic scheduling system. This allows us to give our clients full access to their project’s anticipated timelines. Our system will inform you of dates when you are required to select finishes and make design choices as well as keep you up to date on how your project is progressing towards completion.

5. Project Management

Mathew Desrochers Custom Homes & Renovations offers full project management services in order to maintain one direct point of contact between you and the trades working on your project. Your MD Homes Project Manager will relay to the installers and builders any specific requests and will update you on job progress and any changes regarding your project if any were to arise.
